Fleetwood Mac's *Greatest Hits* compilation has climbed to new peaks on several Billboard charts following an expanded reissue, entering the Top Album Sales chart's top 10 for the first time since the chart launched 35 years ago. The album, originally released in 1988, re-entered the 15 August-dated chart at No. 10, beating its previous best of No. 13 from 2016, after being reissued with seven additional tracks across digital and multiple physical formats.

The deluxe edition, which expands the standard 16-song set with seven extra hits, launched digitally on 10 June before physical formats followed on 31 July, including six double-vinyl variants and a two-CD version. The record also jumped to new or matching peaks on several other charts, including No. 13 on the overall Billboard 200, No. 5 on Vinyl Albums and No. 3 on Top Rock Albums. In the week ending 6 August it sold nearly 6,000 copies in the United States, according to Luminate, a 286% increase on the previous week's sales.
