Explained simply
Florence and the Machine is the British band led by singer Florence Welch, known for dramatic pop and rock songs such as “Dog Days Are Over” and “Shake It Out”. A live album records performances as they were played on stage, rather than presenting studio versions.
The tour behind this release supported the band’s album Everybody Scream. A tour recording can show how songs are arranged and performed for audiences, and gives listeners a way to revisit a particular set of shows.
