Flux House Presents Expands on One of the Comics Industry’s Most Exciting Imprints

IGN · 2 months ago

Comic creator Matt Kindt is expanding his Flux House imprint with a new quarterly anthology series called Flux House Presents, set to run alongside ongoing titles such as Mind MGMT: New & Improved and Fort Psycho. The move builds on Flux House's rapid rise as one of the comic industry's most talked-about new publishing initiatives, giving Kindt and collaborators an outlet for shorter, experimental stories between major story arcs.

The first issue, out on 7 October 2026, features three stories from creators including Brian Hurtt, David Lapham, Alison Sampson and Ella Kindt, among them a two-part tale called "SPARK" and a Fort Psycho spin-off story. Kindt said the series is inspired by classic anthology comics such as Dark Horse Presents and Eightball, aiming to revive short-form storytelling and give creators room to experiment. The announcement coincides with San Diego Comic-Con 2026 (22–26 July), where Kindt and Hurtt are hosting a Flux House panel.
