Fontaines DC are an Irish rock band whose members are singer Grian Chatten, guitarists Carlos O’Connell and Conor Curley, bassist Conor Deegan III, and drummer Tom Coll. Their earlier albums helped establish them as a prominent contemporary guitar band, and their songs often draw on life, identity and place.
The Roundhouse is a live music venue in Camden, north London. CALM, short for Campaign Against Living Miserably, is a UK charity that works to prevent suicide and supports people affected by mental health difficulties. Charity concerts bring performers and audiences together to raise money or awareness for a cause.
A new album launch gives a band a chance to play recent material alongside familiar songs, so audiences can hear how the new work fits into its live repertoire. Fontaines DC’s planned arena dates will bring that music to larger venues across the UK and Europe.
