Foo Fighters opened their North American "Take Cover" summer tour on 4 August at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, supported by Queens of the Stone Age and Mannequin Pussy. Dave Grohl and his bandmates played a 26-song set spanning their catalogue, opening with "All My Life" and closing the main set with "Best of You" before an encore of "The Teacher" and "Everlong" accompanied by fireworks. The show marked an emotional night, with dedications to late drummer Taylor Hawkins and Grohl's late mother, Virginia.

The setlist drew most heavily from 1999's There Is Nothing Left to Lose, with four songs, while The Colour and the Shape, Wasting Light and Concrete and Gold each contributed three; notably, only one track was played from their newest album, 2026's Your Favorite Toy. Queens of the Stone Age performed an 11-song set across five albums, ending with three tracks from 2002's Songs for the Deaf, while Mannequin Pussy opened the evening with five songs from their 2024 record I Got Heaven.
