Foreigner have introduced a $1,000 (around £790) VIP ticket package that lets fans sit onstage for three songs during the band's live set, as part of their current US tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd. The Golden Anniversary VIP Ticket is a significant escalation of the premium concert-experience trend, offering fans direct proximity to the performance rather than just backstage access, and comes as the band, none of whose original members remain in the current lineup, looks to capitalise on its 50th-anniversary period.

Beyond the onstage seating, the package includes a pre-show VIP event, a photo with the band, a laminated pass, early venue entry, a "golden ticket keychain" granting future presale access, a limited-edition 7-inch vinyl of unreleased recordings, a signed and dated set list, a tote bag and a bottle of the band's own Backstage Bourbon. The launch follows Foreigner's release last month of a new live album, In the Eye of the Storm, recorded in September 2025 on Ellis Island in New York.
