Forget ‘Blade,’ Tim Burton’s Wild Vampire-Hunting Epic Is Officially Leaving HBO Max
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Timur Bekmambetov’s action film produced by Tim Burton, is leaving HBO Max on 1 November. The departure gives viewers a short window to revisit the 2012 film, which reimagines the US president as a secret vampire hunter during the Civil War.
Starring Benjamin Walker, Dominic Cooper, Anthony Mackie and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, the film was intended to launch a franchise but underperformed and received mixed reviews. It had a reported budget of $100 million, grossed about $115 million worldwide and has a 34% Rotten Tomatoes score.
