David Henrie said that a visit to a monastery prompted him to reconsider the “secular” lifestyle he associated with Hollywood and to make faith a greater priority in his life. The former Disney actor described the experience as life-changing, saying it helped reshape his approach to work, family and personal values.

Henrie is best known for playing Justin Russo in Disney’s “Wizards of Waverly Place” and now appears in its follow-up, “Wizards Beyond Waverly Place”. He has also spoken about using Scripture and family conversations to help children deal with fears, reflecting his wider effort to bring his religious beliefs into his parenting and public work.
