Former England Soccer Manager Gareth Southgate Strikes Content Deal With Sky Sports

Former England manager Gareth Southgate’s 1071 Media has agreed a content partnership with Sky Sports, covering new YouTube and podcast programmes. The deal brings Southgate into sports media production, with formats aimed at explaining football’s tactics, finances and data to fans.

The weekly Football Dugout podcast and YouTube show will be hosted by Mark Chapman and Conor Coady, focusing on tactics. The Football Boardcast, hosted by Christian Purslow and Henry Winter, will examine the money, power and politics shaping modern football, while The Football Data Room will pair analysis with data. Sky Media will handle commercial representation; Southgate launched 1071 Media with Jimmy Worrall.
