Fortnite confirms Bleach wave 2 skins

Polygon · 3 hours ago

Fortnite is set to receive a second wave of Bleach-themed skins, marking a return to the anime crossover eight months after the first collaboration launched. Epic Games teased the new content via the official German Fortnite account on 4 August, confirming that characters Yoruichi Shihōin and Kisuke Urahara from Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will join the battle royale game as cosmetic additions.

The new skins are due in the Item Shop on 8 August in Germany (from 2 a.m. CEST) and on 7 August in the United States (from 8 p.m. ET), reflecting different shop reset times. The first wave, released last December, featured Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Uryu Ishida and Orihime Inoue, sold individually or as a 4,000 V-Bucks bundle; these are also expected to return alongside the new characters. As with the first wave, this appears to be a purely cosmetic collaboration with no accompanying gameplay features.
