Fortnite launches Cuddles and Chaos: Here’s what to expect
Fortnite has launched Cuddles and Chaos, an event designed to promote a new Creative Island category centred on sidekick creatures. It expands on Epic Games’ earlier attempts at companion pets and gives creators permanent tools to build sidekick-based games, while offering limited-time cosmetic rewards to encourage players to try them.
Players can find the category through Discovery’s Game Collections, with featured games including Sidekick Wars and Sidekick Masters, alongside maps such as Astropets Tycoon and Pets vs Brainrots. Cuddles and Chaos quests run until 25 August and can unlock items including the Panda Team Jr. sidekick, although they have been temporarily disabled after causing crashes; viewers can also earn the KATS Turntable back bling by watching selected Twitch streamers for 30 minutes on 24 July.
