Dataminers, including leaker ShiinaBR, uncovered posters featuring recognisable video game characters bundled with assets for an upcoming story event, pointing to a "Gaming Legends" theme built around franchises such as Pac-Man, Tetris, Persona, Sonic, Kingdom Hearts and Mega Man. This week the rumour gained further weight when players discovered the Pac-Man intro jingle playing faintly from a stone structure at the Wonkeeland location on the Battle Royale map. The next story event is expected on Saturday 15 August, shortly before Chapter 7 Season 3 concludes, with more teasers likely to surface beforehand.
