Frankie Valli has denied reports that he has retired, after his brother Bobby Valli said on Facebook that the singer would stop performing. Valli’s representative and the 92-year-old performer himself said the claim was false, making clear that his recent absence from touring is linked to health rather than a permanent retirement.

Speculation followed Valli’s cancellation in May of all remaining dates on his farewell tour, “The Last Encores”, after he said he needed the rest of 2026 to focus on recovering his health. His representative said he hoped to resume performing in 2027; Valli last appeared on stage on 22 February in Temecula, California, and has performed for about 75 years.
