Fred again.. & Latin Mafia Take ‘9 months & 50 hours’ to No. 1: ‘We’re So Happy!’
British producer Fred again.. and Mexican band Latin Mafia have topped a Billboard chart with their first joint project, "9 months & 50 hours", which debuts at No. 1 on the Top Latin Pop Albums chart dated 15 August. The milestone is significant for both acts: it gives Latin Mafia their first No. 1 on any albums chart, and it marks Fred again..'s first appearance and chart-topping entry on a Latin albums ranking, as well as his first top 10 on the broader Top Latin Albums chart.
The 14-track album also entered at No. 8 on Top Latin Albums, marking the week's Hot Shot Debut, and at No. 9 on Top Dance Albums, opening with just over 8,000 equivalent album units and 8.4 million official US on-demand streams in its first tracking week, according to Luminate. Released on 31 July via Fred again../Atlantic/AG Records following a 50-hour YouTube livestream from Mexico City, it is 2026's only top 10 Latin pop debut on Top Latin Albums and the year's sole No. 1 debut on Top Latin Pop Albums, making Latin Mafia the first band to open atop that chart since The Mavericks in 2020. Lead track "Te Estoy Correteando" also debuted at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Pop Songs chart with 1.5 million streams.
