American Dream, the large entertainment and retail complex in New Jersey, has announced a collaboration with Five Nights at Freddy's and series creator Scott Cawthon to open a permanent, real-life Freddy Fazbear's Pizza attraction in 2027. The venture aims to satisfy a long-standing wish among fans, who have wanted a genuine Chuck E. Cheese-style venue based on the horror franchise since it launched in 2014, and marks one of the most ambitious physical expansions of the brand to date.

The attraction is being billed as a "permanent immersive restaurant experience" that reimagines Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, complete with food, arcade games, animatronic stage shows featuring Freddy and the Fazbear Band, a Foxy's Pirate Cove area, and "immersive multiplayer survival-horror experiences". The announcement came via social media teasers from both American Dream and Scott Games, with fans decoding a hidden "coming soon" message in an accompanying image. It follows other recent real-world expansions of the franchise, including two feature films, a Halloween Horror Nights tie-in with Universal Pictures in 2025, and a life-sized animatronic prop from Spirit Halloween.
