Following Dolly Parton's death on 25 August, fine-art photography gallery Sonic Editions has released a collection of rare and candid images spanning her career, now available as prints for home display. The move comes as fans search for ways to commemorate the country music icon, with the gallery capitalising on renewed interest in her life and legacy by offering intimate, previously lesser-seen photographs alongside more iconic shots.

The collection spans from the 1970s, when hits such as "Jolene" and "I Will Always Love You" cemented her stardom, through to her celebrated 2014 Glastonbury Pyramid Stage performance. Highlights include David Gahr's September 1976 New York shots of Parton joking with passers-by, a March 1977 tour portrait from Michigan, and Harry Langdon's images from her famous October 1978 Playboy shoot. Unframed prints start at $99, with framed versions from $189 rising to $999 for the largest 37×26-inch size, and Sonic Editions also stocks archives of other music legends including Madonna, Bob Dylan and The Beatles.
