Allie Sherlock, a musician from Cork, Ireland, has built a global following after starting out busking on Dublin's Grafton Street at the age of 12. A video of her singing an Ed Sheeran cover went viral online, launching a career that has since taken her from street performances to international recognition, with the singer crediting her success to something other than deliberate viral strategy.

Nine years on from her first busking session, Sherlock has amassed more than 10 million followers and over 33 million streams, making her one of Ireland's best-known young musical exports.
