Gameplay footage emerges of reportedly cancelled Assassin’s Creed game Destiny
Footage has surfaced from Assassin’s Creed Destiny, a game reportedly cancelled while in development at Tencent-owned TiMi Studio Group. The clips show stealth, parkour and combat in ancient China, offering a glimpse of a project that might have expanded the series’ historical settings.
Most footage reportedly comes from a February 2025 prototype, with the story thought to be set in 206 BCE, nine years after Assassin’s Creed Jade. One mission follows a female assassin entering a palace under siege by warlord Xiang Yu’s army to find an artefact; other clips show a boss encounter and a spinning umbrella weapon. Ubisoft has yet to give firm release details for Jade, while it has also proposed closing RedLynx, potentially affecting 52 jobs, and announced 70 positions affected at Ubisoft Singapore.
