Garmin finally made a screenless fitness tracker

Engadget · 4 hours ago

Garmin has launched the Cirqa Smart Band, its first fitness tracker without a screen, positioning it as a direct rival to Whoop and Google's Fitbit Air. Aimed at people who want to monitor their health without the distraction of another display, the device offers a minimalist design, ten-day battery life and a single side button for cycling through tracked activities, and can be worn on the wrist or as an armband.

The Cirqa automatically tracks more than 80 activities, including walking, running and yoga, alongside daily steps, sleep and calories burned, with all data viewable through the Garmin Connect app. It also provides readings on heart rate, blood oxygen, stress, skin temperature and recovery, plus Connected GPS via a paired smartphone, and while a Garmin Connect+ subscription unlocks extra insights, none of the core features require one. Priced at $200, it is available now in two strap sizes and seven colours, including Citron Gray, Mauve and Black.
