Garth Brooks has advised fans to enter Ticketmaster’s waiting room before ticket queues open for his Blame It All On My Roots Arena Tour, saying it helps reduce bot activity and gives genuine buyers a fairer chance. The advice follows extremely high demand for the tour, whose initial Indianapolis dates sold out within minutes and required extra shows to be added.

Tickets for Brooks’s Denver concert were due to go on sale on 31 July, after more than 400,000 people joined the queue for the Indianapolis dates. Brooks has set a single ticket price of $140, rising to $155.25 with fees, and criticised the legality of ticket scalping, suggesting that banning it could address many ticketing problems.
