Explained simply
Still Yours is an independent drama, a feature made outside the major studio system. It is the first feature directed by Chris Shaw, who also wrote the screenplay, and was filmed on Massachusetts’s North Shore.
Gavin Leatherwood plays Jack, a young man whose plans have been shaped by caring for his mother before her death. His father, played by Richard Speight Jr., and Grace, played by Hermione Corfield, are central to the family relationships and choices around him.
The story follows Jack as he tries to decide what comes next, while Grace considers whether to stay near home or pursue other opportunities. Its focus on grief, family ties and life decisions places it within the familiar tradition of character-led drama.
