Geese’s “100 Horses” Is Terrorizing MLB The Show 26 Players

Geese’s track “100 Horses” has drawn complaints from some players since it appeared on the soundtrack to MLB The Show 26, with gamers objecting to its vocals and unsettling wartime imagery. The reaction matters because the game is rated E, and one parent said the lyrics were disturbing for a child to hear.

The song, released in 2025 on Geese’s album Getting Killed, combines themes of war and mortality with a soulful, catchy sound. Players have criticised it on Reddit and the game’s official forum, while others have pointed out that individual songs can be turned off in the in-game jukebox. Frontman Cameron Winter had previously joked that the band might branch into baseball, making the soundtrack placement an unexpected step in that direction.
