Nvidia has confirmed that its GeForce Now cloud gaming service will add official support for Valve's Steam Controller and Steam Machine later this year, allowing the gamepad to be used with the GeForce Now app on Steam Deck and Steam Machine devices. Support on Windows and macOS will follow at an unspecified later date. The update forms part of a wider set of GeForce Now upgrades revealed by Nvidia at Gamescom, alongside broader announcements about its upcoming RTX Spark chip family.

Other improvements include new DLSS 4.5 controls covering Super Resolution, Dynamic Frame Generation and Ray Reconstruction, with Ray Reconstruction also launching in early access for RTX GPUs. GOG single sign-on is now live, GeForce Now support is coming to more Amazon Fire TV Sticks with purchases available via Amazon, and Firefox browser support went live last week. Separately, Nvidia said EA, Embark and Ubisoft will support the RTX Spark chip, launching this autumn, in titles including EA Sports F1 25, Apex Legends, Arc Raiders and Anno 117: Pax Romana, while EA is also developing native support for its Javelin Anticheat technology.
