Gerard Butler’s $523.5M Action Franchise Returns in Official Trailer For ‘Apollo Has Fallen’

An official trailer has been released for *Apollo Has Fallen*, a streaming spin-off continuing the action franchise that began with Gerard Butler’s *Olympus Has Fallen*. Butler is executive producer but is not expected to return as Secret Service agent Mike Banning, marking the series’ continued move towards an international ensemble story.

The series follows MI6 agent Zara Taylor and former protection officer Vincent Taleb after a hijacking exposes a conspiracy involving a deadly virus, mercenaries and a threat to Europe. They travel from Libya to Madrid to confront mercenary leader Yuri Mishkin; *Apollo Has Fallen* follows 2024’s *Paris Has Fallen* and will stream on Canal+ in France, Hulu in the US and Prime Video in the UK.
