The exchange happened on Saturday, 11 July, after Mikey Way pointed out a banner asking whether Gerard had played Baldur’s Gate 3; Gerard replied that he had only played the first game, plus the Icewind Dale expansion, and said he had simply run out of time for later instalments. He then asked the fan whether Baldur’s Gate 3 was good, describing the original game as the closest thing at the time to playing Dungeons & Dragons. Later in the set, he dedicated ‘Vampires Will Never Hurt You’ to Blanche, praising his impact on Games Workshop and Warhammer; the band now have two European dates left before a larger US run and later South American shows.
