Swedish metal band Ghost has unveiled a cinema documentary capturing the closing chapter of their massively successful 'Skeletour', filmed during two sold-out performances at Mexico City's Palacio de los Deportes last autumn. The feature, titled '2 Big To Rig', will premiere in cinemas and IMAX venues worldwide on 26 August for a limited run, marking the band's second feature film collaboration with distributor Trafalgar Releasing. Shot on 16mm film and presenting behind-the-scenes perspectives alongside live footage, the film delivers what organisers describe as the definitive record of the 70-show tour cycle.

The announcement comes as frontman Tobias Forge has signalled his intention to step away from touring following the 'Skeletour's conclusion in February 2026. Forge previously explained that he aims to prioritise family time and has expressed scepticism about Ghost's trademark conceptual storytelling continuing indefinitely, suggesting the band may pursue a different creative direction once his touring hiatus concludes.
