Sony and Sucker Punch have announced a Complete Edition of Ghost of Yotei, due in October, which will add the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion, the returning Legends multiplayer mode and a new roguelike-style survival mode called Most Wanted. The release matters because it substantially expands the game with both story and repeatable co-operative or solo content, while also offering upgrades and quality-of-life improvements for existing players.

The Complete Edition will cost $70, while owners of the base game can upgrade for $15; pre-orders made by 30 September include Ghost of Tsushima’s Sakai Armour. Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted launch on 1 October, with the DLC exploring protagonist Atsu’s past and adding a new Ezo valley; Most Wanted lets players undertake bounty runs using several characters and weapon sets. Legends supports up to four players and is available immediately with the Complete Edition, while all players will receive transmog and Photo Mode improvements on 1 October.
