Europol seeks Serbian woman suspected of £30 million jewellery heist
Europol has added 41-year-old Serbian woman Ninoslava Jovic to its most wanted list, suspecting she helped with a £30 million jewellery robbery at the TEFAF art and antiques fair in Maastricht in 2022. The search for her and four men suspected of carrying out the raid continues; investigators believe the group fled through Germany to Serbia.
The robbers, thought to be linked to the Pink Panther criminal group, wore flat caps and used sledgehammers to break a display case at British jeweller Symbolic and Chase’s stand. A necklace reportedly worth about £23 million was among the stolen goods, and only three of the stolen diamonds have since been recovered. The Limburg Public Prosecution Office is offering a €20,000 reward for information leading to the perpetrators’ arrest.
