Global film and media industry leaders will gather in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, France, on 7 September for the inaugural Lumiere Summit, a conference aimed at addressing the profound structural and technological changes reshaping the entertainment business. Organised by France's CNC and co-chaired by President Emmanuel Macron and South Korean President Lee Jae Myung, the summit is billed as an effort to build what Macron has termed "multilateralism for the moving image", bringing together governments and industry to tackle issues such as piracy, artificial intelligence, cinema access and the future of art-house venues.

The daylong event will be held at the Fondation Maeght and is expected to draw 220 participants from 65 countries across five continents. Confirmed attendees include senior Hollywood figures such as Netflix's Ted Sarandos, Disney's Dana Walden and Alan Bergman, NBCUniversal's Donna Langley, HBO's Casey Bloys and Sony Pictures' Tom Rothman, alongside international executives, industry bodies and public figures including George Clooney.
