The acclaimed Gaza documentary NAZA will receive a cinema release across 56 territories before becoming available worldwide for free on the Guardian’s website. Produced by the Guardian and directed by Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor, the film examines the systems behind Israel’s alleged mass killing of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

NAZA premiered at Venice, where it received a record 25-minute standing ovation and won the Special Jury Prize. It features anonymous interviews with 24 Israeli intelligence and military personnel, builds on investigations published between 2023 and 2025, and has prompted threats from Israeli officials to revoke the filmmakers’ citizenship, alongside protests and death threats.
