Santa Monica Studio has confirmed that God of War Laufey, a spin-off centred on Laufey and starring Deborah Ann Woll, is scheduled for release on 16 February 2027. The announcement gives the project a firm launch date after its recent public debut, making it a notable addition to PlayStation’s forthcoming release slate.

The date was revealed during a God of War Laufey panel at San Diego Comic-Con, where the studio also released a new teaser. The game was first shown at June’s State of Play presentation through 20 minutes of gameplay footage, while Woll previously introduced the character in 2022’s God of War: Ragnarök.
