Good Luck Getting Any Sleep: Gavin Adcock’s End-of-Tour Gift for Morgan Wallen Is Pure Chaos

American Songwriter · 13 hours ago

Country singer Gavin Adcock marked the end of his stint opening for Morgan Wallen on the Still the Problem tour by presenting him with a bizarre taxidermy creation, which he named "Roofus". Adcock explained on Instagram that after two years of supporting Wallen, he wanted to find a gift for someone who could otherwise buy anything he wanted, settling on something Wallen would never purchase himself.

The gift, unveiled after their final joint show in Baltimore, combines parts from several animals, including a deer mount fitted with eagle claws, turkey feet and bull horns. Wallen's Still the Problem tour, which began in April, has four dates left, with two shows each in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The tour has generated headlines over high ticket prices, a cancelled show and a viral incident involving a fan's phone, while Wallen is also preparing to release his new single "Been By Now" on 24 July.
