Good to feel club are committed to me – Jaissle

Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle says recent results have not shaken his belief that the club is committed to him. His comments come after a 1-0 home defeat by Everton, which brought boos from supporters and fuelled speculation about pressure on his position.

Newcastle sit 13th with 11 points from nine league games and have won only twice in their past seven matches. They were also eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Everton; Jaissle said the team had not followed his plan in the league defeat, but believes the players are united and understand his ideas ahead of Saturday’s match at Fulham.
