Necrosoft has launched an itch.io bundle of almost 150 games to raise money for a hardship fund supporting games industry workers affected by layoffs. The initiative responds to widespread job losses and aims to provide practical help to developers who are unemployed or under-employed.
The bundle costs $10 and its proceeds will be distributed by United Videogame Workers for essentials such as food and rent. Eligibility is limited to developers based in the US and Canada; the bundle includes titles such as A Short Hike, Arranger and Lucah: Born of a Dream, alongside many others.
