Grace Cummings has released "Fake," the final single previewing her forthcoming album "Bloodhorse!", due out via ATO Records on 14th August. Produced by Jonathan Wilson, the track continues the singer-songwriter's exploration of understated intensity, pairing outwardly beautiful, soft analogue production with darker, more unsettling themes beneath the surface.

Cummings has described the song as tackling how being called a "good girl" can function as a form of internalised control and abuse, with the track's second half addressing the other person's remorse. The single is accompanied by a video shot in an intimate 9:16 aspect ratio, directed by Tori Styles and edited by Willem Kingma, focusing closely on Cummings's face and reactions as the song unfolds.
