Gracie Abrams releases third studio album Daughter From Hell

Rolling Stone · 3 hours ago

Gracie Abrams has released her third studio album, Daughter From Hell, a 16-track follow-up to 2024's The Secret of Us and its deluxe reissue last year. Speaking at an intimate show at New York's Bowery Ballroom, the singer-songwriter said the record grew out of a quieter period after touring ended, reflecting on the strange, often lonely, sometimes thrilling experience of her twenties while adolescence still feels close behind.

The album was produced by the National's Aaron Dessner, who also worked on Abrams' previous two records, and features writing credits from Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, close friend Audrey Hobert, and her partner Paul Mescal, who co-wrote the track "Imaginary Friend". It follows lead singles "Hit the Wall" and "Look at My Life", the latter proving especially popular with fans. Abrams will support the album with the Look at My Life Tour, kicking off in Denver, Colorado, on 2 December, which she announced with visible excitement on social media.
