Green Day have launched GDTV, a continuous YouTube stream showing material from throughout the band’s career. The service gives fans a single place to watch performances, music videos and previously scarce behind-the-scenes footage, while also extending the group’s promotion ahead of its forthcoming comedy film.

The channel began on 6 August and runs 24 hours a day, with full concerts, archive clips, backstage material and footage from before and after shows. Drummer Tré Cool will present a weekly programme, Transmission Unknown, featuring emerging artists he selects alongside comedy sketches. GDTV arrives before the 14 August cinema release of Nimrods, a film loosely based on Green Day’s early touring years; its soundtrack includes the band’s first new song since 2024’s Saviors, ‘I’m Never Gonna R.I.P’.
