Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong has unveiled a limited-edition Radiant Red Epiphone Les Paul Junior guitar, alongside his first Artist Signature amplifier, made with Marshall. The launches celebrate Armstrong's stripped-back playing style, which has defined his sound for more than two decades, and mark Marshall's first artist signature amp release in 14 years.

The Epiphone Les Paul Junior features a mahogany body and neck, rosewood fretboard, a single P-90 PRO pickup and simple volume/tone controls, and is priced at £489 through Epiphone retailers and Gibson Garage stores. The Marshall 1959BJA amp, first seen behind Armstrong at Green Day's 2026 Super Bowl opening ceremony performance, is built on the handwired 1959HW platform with a custom "Dookie Mod" inspired by the tone of their 1994 album 'Dookie', and is finished in tribute to his first guitar, "Blue". The announcements come amid a busy period for Armstrong, who has recently performed with covers band The Coverups alongside Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson, while Green Day prepares to release the soundtrack to their film 'Nimrods' on 31 July.
