Grok is now an AI ‘teammate’ you can assign work

The Verge · 2 hours ago

SpaceXAI has launched Grok Bot, a beta service that lets users assign multi-step work to always-on AI agents acting as virtual teammates. The agents can use cloud-based computers, log into users’ existing apps and websites, and return once work is complete or approval is needed, reflecting growing competition in workplace AI tools.

Users can instruct Grok Bot by messaging it from a phone or desktop, run several bots at once, and assign one to oversee others on specialised tasks. SpaceXAI says the bots can retain workflow context, communicate with one another and become more proactive; the beta is available to SuperGrok Heavy, Cursor Ultra and Cursor Teams Premium subscribers on desktop and iOS, while business users can join a waitlist.

  • Grok Bot offers autonomous AI agents for workplace tasks.
  • Bots can access apps and coordinate with other bots.
  • The service is in beta for selected subscribers.
