The General Services Administration has ordered a broad audit of AbilityOne, an independent federal procurement programme, after allegations that foreign-made goods were listed as American-made. The review follows findings that some technology products manufactured in China were labelled “Made in USA”, raising concerns about compliance with federal sourcing rules and the integrity of government supply chains.

According to a draft letter seen by Fox News Digital, the Trump administration wants AbilityOne’s products, prices and supply chains examined. AbilityOne is a federal programme that provides goods and services to government agencies while creating employment opportunities for people who are blind or have significant disabilities; the reported concerns centre on whether its suppliers accurately disclose where products are made.
