GTA 6 Leaker Releases More Gameplay Videos Despite Rockstar Owner Take-Two’s Microsoft and Discord Subpoenas

IGN · 3 hours ago

The alleged GTA 6 leaker known as "CyberLeek" has released two further gameplay videos, defying Rockstar owner Take-Two's efforts to unmask them through legal subpoenas targeting Microsoft and Discord. This marks the fifth consecutive day of leaks and comes despite Take-Two escalating its legal response, underscoring the difficulty publishers face in stopping unauthorised leaks once they begin circulating online, especially with a major official reveal looming.

The two newest clips, posted on 22 August, show supercar gameplay with an armed robbery and a strip club scene featuring a cutscene snippet, bringing the week's total to eight leaked videos, all promoting a "CyberLeek" memecoin as part of an apparent crypto scheme. Take-Two obtained a court-approved subpoena against Microsoft on 21 August and also issued one to Discord, seeking identifying details of accounts including those linked to content creator Matthew "Matt" Judge (DarkViperAU), who denies wrongdoing; it earlier sent GitHub a DMCA takedown notice. Rockstar reportedly still doesn't know how the leaks occurred, while Netflix presses ahead with its "Grand Theft Auto 6: An Extended Look" reveal on 27 August, ahead of the game's 19 November 2026 release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
