‘GTA 6’ Leaks May Finally Be Coming To An End

Polygon · 2 hours ago

The main channels behind the latest Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks, Cyberleek’s website and Telegram account, have been taken offline, suggesting Rockstar Games’ legal action may be curbing the disclosures. The development matters because the leaks have frustrated Rockstar’s developers and renewed concerns about security around one of the industry’s most anticipated releases.

Cyberleek began posting footage on 18 August, reportedly confirming features including the return of a six-star Wanted system and showing parts of the game’s large map, without major story spoilers. Take-Two Interactive subpoenaed Microsoft and Discord to identify the source, while Cyberleek’s Telegram channel now cites copyright infringement; GTA 6 remains scheduled for 19 November, with official gameplay due at a Netflix showcase on 27 August.

  • Cyberleek’s website and Telegram channel have been shut down.
  • Take-Two’s legal efforts appear to be limiting further GTA 6 leaks.
  • GTA 6 remains scheduled for release on 19 November.
