GTA 6 pre-load dates and file size: When can you download the game on PS5

GTA 6 is expected to be available for pre-loading on consoles from 10 November, giving players more than a week to download it before its reported worldwide launch at midnight. The early download window matters because the game is expected to require substantial storage space.

The article says the PlayStation 5 file size is 212 GB, but notes that this figure remains unconfirmed; Xbox players should also reserve a similar amount of space. Xbox pre-loads are listed as starting at 7pm PDT or 9pm CDT on 9 November, equivalent to midnight GMT on 10 November. Download codes included with boxed copies are due to become available on 12 November.
