Some 9,038 streamers covered the reveal, generating 5.23 million hours watched; Twitch accounted for 44% of viewing time, followed by YouTube and Kick. Cloudflare recorded major traffic rises, including a 45% increase for Netflix in the UK and a 1,210% jump for Rockstar’s website, while much negative chat sentiment focused on streaming outages; the event also came after leaked videos and amid employment disputes involving recently dismissed Rockstar North staff.
