GTA VI keeps leaking ahead of its gameplay premiere
Clips appearing to show gameplay from Grand Theft Auto VI have leaked online just ahead of Rockstar Games' official "extended look" premiere, threatening to spoil footage before the studio's own reveal. Rockstar has not commented, and two of the three leaked clips have already been removed from the site where they were spotted following a copyright claim, though a third remained live at the time of writing.
The clips, watermarked by a source calling itself "CyberLeek," reportedly show protagonist Jason Duval in scenes ranging from a quiet basketball shoot-around to more typical GTA chaos, including assaulting people, using a taser, stealing a vehicle and triggering a six-star Wanted level; one video also promoted a CyberLeek cryptocurrency. This is not the first leak to hit the game, following a major 2022 breach in which 90 videos surfaced before its official unveiling. Rockstar's official extended look is due to premiere on Netflix on 27 August and YouTube shortly after, ahead of the game's $79.99 launch on 19 November.
