Guns N’ Roses and Johnny Depp Deliver Huge Surprises During Aerosmith Hollywood Bowl Concert

American Songwriter ·

Aerosmith returned to the stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, two years after Steven Tyler’s vocal cord injury led the band to cancel the rest of its Peace Out tour and announce an end to traditional touring. The concert, billed as “Aerosmith + Friends”, brought the group together with Guns N’ Roses and Johnny Depp, making the performance a notable return while leaving the band’s future plans unclear.

Guns N’ Roses performed three Aerosmith songs: “Nobody’s Fault”, “Last Child” and “Seasons of Wither”, alongside their own hits “Welcome to the Jungle” and “Paradise City”. Depp, who plays with Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry in Hollywood Vampires, joined the musicians on guitar for “Train Kept A-Rollin’”. Aerosmith has not announced what comes next.
