GWAR is joining the video game Mutant Football League 2 as a playable team through a new downloadable content pack called Antarctica Scumdogs, developer Digital Dreams Entertainment has announced. The DLC marks the shock-rock band's first video game appearance in more than 30 years and is due for release on PlayStation 5, Steam and Xbox Series X|S in October 2026, bringing GWAR's grotesque mythology to the ultra-violent football title.

The pack includes seven GWAR characters — among them Blöthar The Berserker, Bälsäc The Jaws 'O Death and Jizmak Da Gusha — billed as the most physically destructive team in the game, along with a new stadium themed around the band's lore. GWAR: Antarctica Scumdogs will get its worldwide playable debut at PAX West in Seattle from 4 to 7 September, at Digital Dreams Entertainment's booth, with a daily raffle offering attendees the chance to be immortalised as a playable Scumdogs team member.
