Thai investment and production company Kliff Studios is expanding its support for emerging filmmakers with the sci-fi drama *Algo In The Sky*. The Bangkok-based company is co-producing the film with Matlock Stone, Gecco Productions and TSixtySix, marking the feature directing debut of cinematographer T-Thawat “Pete” Taifayongvichit.

Set in a near-future Bangkok, the film follows a divorced woman helping create an AI avatar of her ageing former mother-in-law as her daughter prepares to leave home. Shooting is scheduled to begin in March 2027, with the story exploring memory, grief and family recollections; Kliff says the project reflects its wider strategy of combining international investment with the development of Thai talent and potentially pursuing a Thailand-Singapore co-production.
