Toho Animation has released a new trailer for "Where Monsters Go," an upcoming Haikyu!! TV special, as part of Haikyu!! Day celebrations, alongside a teaser image for the forthcoming film Haikyu!!: VS The Little Giant. Both projects, due in 2027, will bring the beloved volleyball anime towards its conclusion, continuing the story from where the earlier film Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle left off.

"Where Monsters Go" depicts a match between Fukurodani Academy and Mujinazaka High School, featuring star players Kotaro Bokuto and Wakatsu Kiryu, while Haikyu!!: VS The Little Giant will pick up the Tokyo Nationals Arc and serves as the second of two "Final" films intended to close out the series. Haikyu!! follows Shoyo Hinata's rise through Karasuno High School's volleyball team, based on the manga that ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 2012 to 2020 and has sold over 75 million copies across 45 volumes. The original TV anime, produced by Production I.G., comprises 85 episodes broadcast between 2014 and 2020, ending partway through the Tokyo Nationals Arc, which the two films are set to complete.
