‘Half Man’s Jamie Bell Officially Returns in First Look at Twisted New Satirical Comedy [Exclusive]

Collider · 2 hours ago

Jamie Bell returns to cinemas in *Rosebush Pruning*, a satirical dark comedy that has now completed its festival run and is set for its American theatrical release. Collider has exclusively shared a first-look clip from the film, which follows a deeply dysfunctional family whose fragile dynamic is threatened when one sibling considers moving out to live with his girlfriend.

In the clip, Bell's character Jack tells his siblings he plans to bring his girlfriend to a family lunch and hints he may leave the family home for her. His sister Anna, played by Riley Keough, reacts with intense possessiveness and accuses him of abandoning the family, which is already reeling from the recent death of their mother, while brothers Edward (Callum Turner) and Robert (Lukas Gage) merely find the tension amusing. The film is due to open in North American theatres on 24 July 2026.
